Esta e uma lista moderada destinada principalmente a rede do estado do Rio Grande do Sul (redetche) e a clientes do Ponto de Presenca da RNP no estado. INFOSEG e uma lista voltada a administradores de sistemas que necessitam conhecer e se atualizar sobre as principais vulnerabilidades e novos ataques aos quais as suas maquinas estao expostas. Nela sao discutidos varios topicos relativos a seguranca: * Dicas sobre configuracoes de hosts * Firewalls * Regras de Filtragem * Novos ataques * Ataques em andamento * Ferramentas para seguranca * Publicacao de Advisories de orgaos como o CERT/CC, CIAC, vendedores (IBM, SUN) Aqui tambem sao tratados outros topicos que circulam nas principais listas de seguranca do Brasil e Exterior. Using infoseg
To post a message to all the list members, send email to infoseg@pop-rs.rnp.br. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to infoseg
Subscribe to infoseg by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
